One of our newest workouts is called “The Gauntlet.” This workout is designed for CrossFitters who are looking for a challenging, yet rewarding, workout. The Gauntlet consists of five rounds:

1) The Farmer’s Walk: Start with feet together and hands on hips, walk forward 15 steps.

2) The Snatch: Get into the starting position for the clean and jerk, with arms fully extended overhead. Dig your heels into the ground as you lift your torso up and snatch the barbell from the ground, extending your arms fully until the barbell reaches shoulder-height. Keep your back straight and core engaged as you descend back down to the ground.

3) The Power Snatch: From the same position as in step 2, perform a power snatch by explosively pulling the barbell off the ground using both arms, then quickly pressing it back up to shoulder-height.
