Panasonic on Thursday unveiled its latest P-Series smartphone in India, the P91. The smartphone has been priced at Rs. 6,490 and will be available via all authorised retailers. The company says that the Panasonic P91 sports graphite film on top which can prevent it from heating and can prohibit the damage of circuits. It has been launched in Blue, Gold, and Black colours. At this price point, the Panasonic P91 will be competing against the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 4A.
To run through the specifications, the Panasonic P91 features a 5-inch HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737M SoC coupled with 1GB of RAM. There’s 16GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). It sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with flash and also packs a 5-megapixel front camera. The rear camera on the P91 comes with several camera modes including scan QR codes, detect scene automatically, select scene frame, adjust exposure value, record time-lapse, portrait, and professional mode.
It is backed by a 2500mAh battery and supports 4G VoLTE. It measures 144.7×72.4×10.1mm and comes with hybrid SIM slot with support for dual SIM cards. The handset weighs 161 grams.
