LG has released a new promo for the V10 smartphone that offers customers with free items upon purchasing it.
Under the promo customers who purchase the LG V10 either through carriers T-Mobile, AT&T or Verizon or retailers including Amazon and Best Buy will be eligible to receive free items that include a 64 GB micro SD card, an extra battery and a battery charging cradle.
The promo by LG actually does well in highlighting the features of the V10, as it is one of the few flagship devices remaining in the market that offer both expandable storage options through a micro SD card slot and a removable battery.
To participate in the promo, users have to access LG’s promo website for the offer. Upon reaching the website, customers will be asked to specify and submit the date of purchase. Clicking ‘submit’ will lead to a page where the customer has to enter personal details and answer a quick survey. Customers will also be required to submit the IMEI number of their V10, along with two proofs of purchase. Through the promo page of the V10, customers may enter their email address and zip code to track their submissions, too.
Aside from redeeming through the promo website, customers can also take advantage of the offer by mailing in their submissions.
Customers who purchase the LG V10 beginning Nov. 30 to Dec. 20 will have up to Dec. 31 to redeem their free items. LG must receive the mailed entries by Jan. 7, 2016 for the submission to be valid.
The approximate retail value of the free items is at $129.97, though LG noted that any of the items cannot be returned to LG stores, carriers and retailers in exchange for their value in cash. Furthermore, the company asks for around four to six weeks to process and fulfill all the valid requests to participate in the promo.
While the offer is a great one, it is not as good as the previously released deal that had the V10 coming along with a 200 GB micro SD card and the same extra battery and battery charging cradle that the current offer comes with.
