Ram Charan earned a good name with his brilliant performance in director Sukumar’s Rangasthalam, which hit the screens last year. The actor is back with his latest flick, Vinaya Vidheya Rama, which released worldwide today (January 11). The action drama will battle it out with Balayya’s NTR Kathanayakudu at the box office.
Vinaya Vidheya Rama has been receiving negative reviews from critics and the audience alike. The film, directed by Boyapati Srinu, has been torn apart for being silly and dumb.
The stunt sequences in the film, especially, are being ridiculed for being doltish and gravity-defying. (Fun Fact: These action blocks are choreographed by Kanal Kannan).
Twitter is having a field day today, after a moviegoer managed to capture two of the mind-numbing action sequences. These two videos are going viral on social media, and netizens have responded with equally hilarious comments.
In a particular scene, dreaded don Raja Bhaiyya (Vivek Oberoi) comes back to his den where people have forgotten him as he was recuperating from an injury. A young kid says he doesn’t know who Raja is. Instigated by this, he instils fear in him by threatening him with a snake.
One would think that he’d let the snake bite the young kid. But Boyapati has other plans in Vinaya Vidheya Rama. Raja lets the snake bite himself instead. After a few stings, he doesn’t die. Twist in the tale: the snake does. Because, Raja is not a human, but a monster.
