Oh yeah, and that one character everyone loves, the one who had been built up to be a potential candidate for the Iron Throne over the course of season 5? Yeah, he’s wicked dead.
Obama asked Nutter about the fate of Jon Snow, to which Nutter replied essentially everyone’s favorite illegitimate son is definitely dead.
“I thought I was going to be sent to Guantanamo or something,” Nutter said during at San Diego Comic Con, “but fortunately I’m here,” but Jon Snow? “He’s dead.”
The Red Wedding, for those of you who don’t recall, was the shocking penultimate episode of season 3 in which basically everyone you held dear up until that point had the crap murdered out of them.
There’s a ton of news, Game of Thrones and otherwise, coming out of San Diego Comic Con right now, and IGN is there. While we can’t promise any shocking season finales, we can promise coverage of all the news coming from the con, so keep it right here on IGN.
